Blockbuster Currently Selling The Lost Expeditions Edition £34.99
That's a good price. I got it from GAME (£39.99) but I had a gift voucher to redeem so it only cost me £24.99.
I've now spent around two hours on the single player story mode, although I haven't followed the story too much as of yet. There is alot of the usual hints and tutorials popping up but they will soon stop and I can get into the game properly. The visuals are great and there are endless places to explore and that's just after the first tower is unlocked. The map is huge. I would say it's about double the size of the old GTA-San Andreas map. The shooting is a bit wayward to begin with but that's because you need to gain skills for your character to make him more accurate, stealthy, etc. I don't like the driving much and I feel it needs a third person view for this. It may be there but I can't find it.
I must say that this is a game you can get completely lost in and after this little break i'm getting back on to craft myself some bigger rucksacks and weapon holsters.
As far as first impressions go, I would say this is at the top end of my gaming list and only bettered by BF3 and GT5.
